OG ("Old Girl") is a sweet petite cat. A tuxedo who just looks like a little old teddy bear. She loves neck scratches and a good conversation (she's one of those cats who doesn't realize she is a cat).
She was found wandering alone on Frank Sinatra Drive and brought to the county shelter as a stray. No one ever claimed her, and she was too geriatric (estimated 18 years old at the time) to be kept for adoption at the county shelter.
Today, OG is about 21 years old and has a safe sanctuary at ForeverMeow for the remainder of her life.
Although when she came to us, her blood work was normal, she has subsequently developed high blood pressure and kidney disease. Both of these conditions are under control with treatment, and she is enjoying her life with ForeverMeow.
Because of her age and condition, we do not want to subject her to the stress of a change at this point, and she will happily love out the rest of her life with the ForeverMeow founders. She will be the 5th senior cat to do so. If you'd like to make a donation to OG's care (she is on daily subQ fluids, Amlopidine and a special kidney diet), please click on the donate button on www.forevermeow.org. Your donation is tax deductible.
