Help - I Lost My Cat!

Back to listings

The best advice for finding your lost cat is available at www.catsinthebag.org.

Get out there and call for kitty.  Your voice is like a homing beacon.  Leave something with your scent on it outside your house.  Check your local shelters daily.  Put up flyers.  For more detailed information about a lost cat communications plan, please click here.

And remember, don’t ever give up!  Most cats don’t show up in shelters for 6-9 months after they are initially lost.

We believe it is important to check both shelter in the Coachella Valley for your lost pet.  These are the Coachella Valley Animal Campus (CVAC) and the Palm Springs Animal Shelter which services Palm Springs only.  We have seen animals from Palm Springs get turned into CVAC and visa versa, animals from other desert cities turned into the Palm Springs Animal Shelter.

Impounded animals will be held at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus for impound day plus 4 days.  To search the Coachella Valley Animal Campus Lost and Found Pets: click here
